The Breeders to play second LA benefit 29 January 2001 Like their live reunion in December, the February show benefits Children Of The Night, a Van Nuys, California non-profit organization that works to help children forced into prostitution to break free and live healthier lives. You can find out more, or get info on giving donations, on the COTN site. Also playing the benefit will be former Pixies drummer David Lovering with his band David Loverings Science Experiment. (Meanwhile, Pixies founder Frank Black recently recruited former Pixies guitarist Joey Santiago to his band The Catholics; Black also lives in LA.) In addition to playing the benefit, The Breeders have autographed all sorts of paraphernalia, memorabilia, and other stuff thatll be on sale during the show including T-shirts, CDs, cell phones, drums, and a one-of-a-kind wool bag handmade by Kelley Deal. All sales will benefit Children Of The Night. | The Breeders | | Hot Pants club | | Children Of The Night | | Fear | | discography | | sample | | top of page | |
