Stephen Malkmus sets solo tour dates; album preview

Matador Records in collaboration with Yahoo! has posted the entire solo debut LP by Pavement front man Stephen Malkmus in streaming Windows Media format, available online now through 16 February. (You need to ensure that cookies are enabled in your browser to get the audio.)
    The new self-titled album hits North American stores 13 February on Matador, and Europe the day before on Domino. Tracks are Black Book, Phantasies, Jo Jo’s Jacket, Church On White, The Hook, Discretion Grove, Troubbble, Pink India, Trojan Curfew, Vague Space, Jenny And The Ess-Dog, and Deado.
    Last week Malkus released the LP’s first US single, Discretion Grove, with non-album B sides Sin Taxi and Leisurely Poison. He plays a one-off at New York city’s Bowery Ballroom on Thursday, to be followed by a major North American tour in March and April. Here are the dates
