Departure Lounge announce 2nd album, new charity comp

UK ambient pop act Departure Lounge (previously The Homer Lounge, Homer, and various other names) are putting finishing touches on their not-yet-titled followup to last year’s debut LP Out Of There. The band are keeping further details under their collective hat for now.
In the meantime you can find one great new DL song, Christmas Downer, on the recent Jeepster/XFM benefit compilation It’s A Cool, Cool Christmas; and another, Straight Line To The Kerb, on the upcoming benefit CD The Amos House Collection due 30 January on Wishing Tree Records. Other artists on Amos House CD are Bridget, The Aluminum Group, Purple Ivy Shadows, Death Cab For Cutie, Idaho, The Clearing, The Ladybug Transistor, Aden, The Lilac Time, Wheat, Spoon, and Delphine. Proceeds go to the Providence, Rhode Island non-profit homeless shelter/counseling center Amos House.
