Connecticut-based (by way of Madison, Wisconsin) edgy/romantic guitar band Rainer Maria release their third spellbinding album next week, A Better Version Of Me. They recorded it this past September at Madison’s Smart Studios, co-owned by Garbage founder/Nirvana producer Butch Vig, with production and engineering by Mark Haines (Hey Mercedes, Braid, and previous work with RM).
Tracks on the new album are Artificial Light, Thought I Was, Ceremony, The Seven Sisters, Save My Skin, the Contents Of Lincoln’s Pockets, Atropine, Spit And Fire, and Hell And High Water.
The trio of Caithlin De Marrais (vocals and bass), Kyle Fischer (guitar), and William Kuehn (drums) will perform live on US cable TV on the Oxygen channel’s Trackers show on 30 January. | Rainer Maria | | MP3 audio on Epitonic | | Trackers on Oxygen | | bio | | discography | | sample | | CD | | top of page |
