Frodus write final chapter after eight years

Washington, DC area hardcore trio Frodus, aka the Frodus Conglomerate International, this week released their sixth and final studio album And We Washed Our Weapons In The Sea. Disbanded for most practical purposes, the band will not be touring.
Producer Brian McTernan (Cave-In, The Explosion, Snapcase) recorded the album in DC in the latter part of 1999, but it took a label change—from Tooth & Nail to Fueled By Ramen—to get the set out the door. The vinyl version is published by Day After Records out of the Czech Republic.
Frodus fans have at least one more release to look forward to, however. The band say they will release this year a double-CD compliation including material from 1994’s cassette-only Molotov Cocktail Party, 1995’s Fireflies, and 1996’s f-letter, along with tracks from rare 7" singles. The label and release date for the collection are yet to be announced. | Frodus | | Frodus on Outersound | | Fueled By Ramen | | The Earth Isn't Humming (full length MP3) | | discography | | CD | | top of page |
