Bonfire Madigan playing 2nd annual Lesbopalooza fest
21 February 2001

San Francisco chamber pop collective Bonfire Madigan, led by 25 year old Madigan Shive, hit the road on 2 March with a show at the Red Lion Inn in Eugene, Oregon. They’re playing the University of Oregon’s second annual Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, & Transgender Alliance Lesbopalooza festival. Also playing that night are Phranc, The Need, The Culottes, and Djinniah. The festival’s second night (3 March) will be held at W.O.W Hall in Eugene and features Ferron, Magdalen Hsu-Li, Negra Johnson, Americunt, and DJ Coral. Both shows are all ages, with ticket information available on the LGBTA Web site.
    For the upcoming Bonfire Madigan tour, new member John will play drums while Tomas Palermo works on his solo debut, tentatively titled Dub ID-Neon Blue. But Madigan assures us that Tomas remains part of the Bonfire sphere and will appear on future BMad releases. Bonfire Madigan released their second widely available album Saddle The Bridge on Kill Rock Stars this past May.
