Le Tigre video interview by Peaches 13 February 2001 Webfreetv.com has posted a video interview of Chicago-New York techno/ punk/ pop/ feminist trio Le Tigre conducted by Canadian technoporn performer Peaches. While hosted on a German site, the interview is in English.     Le Tigre, fronted by former Bikini Kill vocalist Kathleen Hanna, recently changed their lineup, replacing Sadie Benning with JD Samson. Last month they released an EP titled From The Desk Of Mr. Lady (referring to the band’s label). They are on tour now in Japan.     Peaches, meanwhile, starts a Scandinavian tour on 29 March, continuing through early April, at which time she’ll head Stateside for a tour with Kitty-Yo label mate and fellow Canuck Gonzales. | video interview | | Le Tigre | | EP review on Rockbites | | discography | | top of page |
