1 February 2001

Mannheim, Germany based, not-for-profit Enough Fanzine has just published its online February 2001 issue. Featured are articles on the underground music scenes in formerly-communist Bulgaria (including the scene’s origins in the ’60s under the Stalinist regime, and true tales of smuggled copies of Buzzcocks and Pere Ubu vinyl), the monarchy of Malaysia (covering the underground Grrrl scene, including such bands as Quiet Rot, Kluk Kluk Adventure, Kramer Suck, and Kind Sadist—and how they were influenced by the Olympia scene), and Columbus, Ohio, USA (don’t go to the Newport Music Hall, whatever you do).
The folks at Enough are also working on upgrading their associated Web radio site Punkradio.de, which broadcasts commercial-free punk and related genres 24 and 7 in association with Live365.com. | Enough Fanzine | | Punkradio.de | | top of page |
