Noise Pop fest announces early lineup for 10th anniversary
7 December 2001

Noise Pop, San Francisco’s largest and ever-expanding annual new music festival, has announced the early lineup for their 10th anniversary edition to take place 26 February through 3 March. Bands confirmed as of press time include Adult, Call And Response, Chantigs, Death Cab For Cutie, Dismemberment Plan, The Faint, I Am Spoonbender, Makers, The New Pornographers, Oranger, The Pattern, The Velvet Teen, and a first time live collaboration between X co-founder John Doe and vocalist Neko Case.
Started back in 1993 as a one-off with no intentions to become large or annual, Noise Pop has flourished—a couple of years ago expanding to include an annual Noise Pop Chicago edition.
Noise Pop San Francisco will take over most of the city’s interesting venues for the better part of a week, including Bimbo’s 365 Club, Bottom Of The Hill, Café Du Nord, The Fillmore, The Great American Music Hall, The Justice League, and Slim’s. Apart from way too much music for one person to take in, Noise Pop will again offer a film festival, an educational seminar series, and a special 10th anniversary party. | Noise Pop | | top of page |
