Seafood to release third LP in US, Australia
26 December 2001

London area post grunge quartet Seafood recorded their third full length, When Do We Start Fighting..., in New York city early this year—but so far have released it only in the UK. It came out in July on Infectious Records, who have since released a couple of versions of the single Splinter—also UK only.
Now Boston, Massachusetts based Big Wheel Recreation, who picked up the band’s second album, Surviving The Quiet, for North America in March, are set to offer a US domestic version of WDWSF in March 2002. The record will also likely see a domestic Australia release in April.
Seafood (guitarist David Line, bassist Keven Hendrick, drummer Caroline Banks, and guitarist Charles Macleod—all sing except for Macleod) toured the US last year with Jimmy Eat World, and join them again late next month for two UK dates. Jimmy Eat World are staging an abbreviated European tour following Blink 182’s decision last week to drop out due to health problems. The Seafood/Jimmy Eat World dates are 25 January at the London Astoria, and 26 January at Wulfrun Hall in Wolverhampton. | Seafood | | Big Wheel Recreation | | top of page |
