Tim Prudhomme of Fuck recording solo debut

Multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Tim Prudhomme, long time member of rock iconoclasts Fuck, is in the midst of recording his solo debut for Sonic Youth’s Smells Like Records imprint. He’s in Memphis, his home town, working with producer Doug Easley (Pavement, Sonic Youth, The Amps, The White Stripes). The not yet titled LP should come out sometime this spring.
Fuck released their fifth full-length studio album, Cupid’s Cactus, on Valentine’s Day this year; and on April Fools day released a rarities collection titled Gold Bricks. 2001 also marked the end of Fuck as a touring entity, an event prompted by the increasingly widely scattered home bases of the band’s members. | Fuck | | Smells Like Records | | top of page |
