Super Furry Animals snag awards, set US release date

Welsh psychedelic pop masters Super Furry Animals have finally secured a North American distribution deal for their groundbreaking 2001 LP Rings Around The World—a stunning album in its own right and the first ever released simultaneously with a DVD version.
Available since July in the UK, the US/Canada domestic release of RATW hits stores in March on XL Recordings. The band will tour Stateside in February.
Last Thursday, SFA won a hat trick at the first annual Welsh Music Awards earning Best Group as well as Best Single and Best Video (both for Juxtapozed With U) in the Rock & Pop category.
