Rock & Roll Library posts music database tour

The Boston, Massachusetts based Rock & Roll Library (RRL) is a nonprofit Web project aiming to build a definitive online collection of lyrics, recording history, and popular music biography in the context of rock music’s social significance and impact. They also work to promote music education, and education in all subject areas through music; and hope to construct a physical library to hold rock & roll photographs, videos, original lyrics, and writings.
    The RRL has just posted an online tour of their forthcoming Music Archive Database, a massive Web project that will eventually encompass biographies; lyrics; song samples; discographies; liner notes; images; book, album, movie, and concert reviews; tour dates; and more.     With endorsements from Amnesty International, The Matthew Shepherd Foundation, GLAAD, the NAACP, and other rights organizations—but so far not much funding—the RRL needs corporate sponsorship and strategic partners to complete the Music Archive Database.
