Maximilian Hecker releases debut single
2 August 2001
image
23 year old Berlin solo artist Maximilian Hecker, already burdened with media comparisons to Radiohead, released his gorgeous debut single a few weeks ago on Kitty-Yo Records titled Infinite Love Song b/w White.
The single precedes Hecker’s debut album, slated for a September release in Europe. Kitty-Yo has posted for a limited time an MP3 version of another Hecker track, Cold Wind Blowing—we’ve provided a direct link. You can pick up the single on CD or vinyl direct from the label or from Belgian online retailer Atrecordings, who offer full length RealAudio previews of both tracks.
Hecker is set to play at Gruenspan in Hamburg on 8 September supporting Stereolab, and at Glazart in Paris on 13 September with fellow Kitty-Yo artist Louie Austen. | Maximilian Hecker on Kitty-Yo | | Maximilian Hecker on Atrecordings | | Cold Wind Blowing (full length MP3) | | top of page |
