Moviola to release splits series starting September

With their definitive fifth album around the corner—titled Rumors Of The Faithful and due for the US 21 August, available the same day in the UK as an import—Columbus five piece Moviola have revealed that starting next month they’ll release a series of four split singles.
    The releases will coincide with a rare Moviola tour outside of Ohio that includes New York city, Philadelphia, Chicago, and a couple of dates in Canada.
    First out will be a split with EyesInWeasel, the new band fronted by former Guided By Voices multi-instrumentalist Tobin Sprout. Splits will follow with dark country husband/wife duo The Handsome Family; Portland, Oregon experimental project Bugsküll; and Brooklyn, New York low fi quartet Home.

14 - New York city (Under Acme/ CMJ festival)
15 - Philadelphia (Dot Dash Records in-store show)

October
4 - Hamilton, ON (Raven)
5 - Toronto, ON (Ted’s Wrecking Yard)
6 - Chicago (Schuba’s w/ Clem Snide, The Trouble With Sweeney)
