London-based experimental electronica duo Tennis (Ben Edwards, aka Benge, and Douglas Benford, aka Si-{cut}.db, Media Form, and Radial Blend) have released their second album Europe On Horseback worldwide on Bip-Hop, a French label based in Marseilles. It follows their debut LP Wooden Sweets, released last year on Cologne, Germany’s ElectroChemical Research records.
Tracks on the new album are Civic Halo, Contube Alomany, Weakness Together, Self-Seal Mishap, Safelle, Port Helix, Loose-Knit Pierrot, and Debonair Content. You can audition the entire album online in RealAudio on Belgium’s Atrecordings.com Web site.
Although Tennis have not announced tour dates, Si-{cut}.db performs with Bit Tonic on 28 May at the Moon Palace, Chalk Farm in London. | Tennis on Atrecordings | | Bip-Hop Records | | Douglas Benford | | discography | | CD | | top of page |
