Duluth, Minnesota slo-core trio Low, now in the latter stages of a world tour that includes a couple of dates in Tokyo next month, have just released two songs on a split CD-EP with K (Karla Schickele of Ida and formerly with Beekeeper). The EP tracks are Regular Girl (K), Those Girls (Low), Venus—Time Stereo remix (Low), and Were We To Dance—Time Stereo remix (K). The release is also available in a 7" vinyl version with two songs: Those Girls (Low) and Regular Girl (K).
The split’s version of the classic Low track Venus is a new recording by Warn Defever (Time Stereo), who also recorded the track Those Girls for the disc.
Low’s most recent album is the critically acclaimed Things We Lost In The Fire, released this past February. You can order the split EP online directly from Tiger Style. | Low | | K on Tiger Style | | Tiger Style Records | | bio | | discography | | CD | | top of page |
