Minneapolis high-energy noisy rock quartet Cadillac Blindside (Zaq Zrust on vocals & guitar, James Russell on guitar and vocals, Trent Raygor on bass, Rebecca Hanten on drums) have signed with Florida’s Fueled By Ramen Records for a new studio EP, which follows their 2000 album Read The Book, Seen The Movie. The EP, due 22 May, is titled The Allegory Of Death And Fame. It includes the track Empty Bottle Evening—which the label has now posted as a free, full length MP3 download.
CBS (as they call themselves) played the MACRoCk (Mid-Atlantic College Radio Conference) festival this past weekend, and start a new tour on the 18th in Carrboro, North Carolina. They’ll then play dates in Florida, Alabama, Colorado, and Minnesota. | Cadillac Blindside on Soda Jerk Records | | Fueled By Ramen Records | | Empty Bottle Evening (full length MP3) | | tour dates | | bio | | discography | | top of page |
