Fad Gadget returns after 17 years

Highly influential UK electronica pioneer Frank Tovey, having last performed as Fad Gadget way back in 1984, is back. He plays at this Sunday’s Elektrofest 2001 at The Mean Fiddler in London. Backing up Tovey onstage will be Australia’s Temple X. The show is likely to be largely retrospective, with the band promising renditions of Back To Nature, Ricky’s Hand, and Collapsing New People.
Elektrofest runs from 3 pm until 11 pm on Easter Sunday. Also playing will be In Strict Confidence, Icon Of Coil, Greenhaus, Mechanical Cabaret, Void Construct, and Adinem, along with DJ performances.
