Jon Spencer Blues Explosion hitting Brazilian festivals 11 April 2001
New York blues punk experimentalists Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, who haven’t released a full-length album (apart from various re-issues) since 1999’s remix/outtake disc Xtra-Acme, are alive and well and heading to South America. They’ll play a string of seven dates, including three festival appearances, starting 18 April in Santiago, Chile. According to their European label Mute Records, JSBX are “working on new material,” with no additional information forthcoming.
