Roskilde Festival invites attendees to comment 5 September 2000 Organizers of Denmark’s annual Roskilde charity festival have posted a survey for people who attended this year. Among other things, participants are asked their opinion on how to prevent a repeat of this year’s tragedy in which nine Pearl Jam fans died near the stage during the band’s performance on 30 June: “Due to the tragic accident in front of Orange Stage, do you have any suggestions how the security at Roskilde Festival and other festivals and concerts may be improved? Give us your suggestions and ideas to practical, technical and/or mental improvements.” In addition, last month the Roskilde Web site opened a page on which you can post condolences to survivors and to friends and family of the victims.
