Scottish rock hero Jim Reid’s new band Freeheat return to the US for a second tour on 20 October, with a half dozen dates announced on the east coast and in the midwest. An upcoming UK gig recently changed city—details below.
Freeheat (originally conceived as TV69 nearly two years ago) officially formed late last year with Jim Reid, Ben Lurie, and Nick Sanderson of The Jesus And Mary Chain along with Romi Mori of The Gun Club. The band debuted this July in London, then staged an eight date east coast/west coast US tour. They are still unsigned. As guitarist Ben Lurie told Rockbites recently, “We figure that we’ll go out, play some gigs, and hopefully people will come to us.” (Check our interview link).

26 - London (Garage)
