The Magnetic Fields to perform 69 love songs. In order. 29 September 2000 One of Merrits many other musical projects, The 6ths, released earlier this month an eclectic smorgasboard of an album called Hyacinths & Thistles, their first CD in five years. It features vocals by Marc Almond (ex Soft Cell), Sarah Cracknell (St. Etienne), Neil Hannon (The Devine Comedy), Miho Hatori (Cibo Matto), Momus (aka Nicolas Currie), Bob Mould (ex Hüsker Dü), and others.
