Unicycle Records posts Rock Out SF audio on Web 28 September 2000 Rock Out SF was the first major event in support of the nascent Save Local Music movement in the Bay area, prompted by an accelerating disappearance of rehearsal space and the shutting down of several live music venues. San Francisco Supervisor Gavin Newsom said These people are not being alarmist, the evidence is incontrovertible. If you have no incubator space, the seeds of the community will die off, or go somewhere else.
