Le Tigre launch major US tour

Chicago-New York techno/ punk/ pop/ feminist trio Le Tigre started a month long US tour last night at the Kilby Court Gallery in Salt Lake City and play tonight in Boise, Idaho. They’re appearing with a variety of artists around the country including The Anomolies, Bangs, The Butchies, Tami Hart, Tracy And The Plastics, Vaginal Creme Davis, and others.     Le Tigre—Kathleen Hanna (ex Bikini Kill, Julie Ruin), Sadie Benning (a prolific video artist), and Johanna Fateman (Swim With The Dolphins)—released their self titled debut last October, which earned Village Voice critic Robert Christgau’s praise as his number 3 album for 1999.
