Bigwig take metal attack on the road with NUFAN
22 September 2000
image
New Jersey hardcore punk/metal quartet Bigwig still have no news on a title or release date for their third full length, rumored since last year... but they’re hitting the road for a major US/Canada tour starting 6 October at the Nile Theatre in Mesa, Arizona. They’ve just added several dates to the seven week excursion, which runs through 19 November with a show at The Epicentre in San Diego.
Bigwig appeared recently on the 17 track Punk Goes Metal compilation on Fearless Records—on which they interpret Slayer’s War Ensemble, and on the 30 track comp Better Living Through Reckless Experimentation on Hull, Québec’s Barcode records, released late August.
All of Bigwig’s dates are opening for northern California punk veterans No Use For A Name. | Bigwig (unofficial) | | tour dates | | Fearless Records | | Barcode Records | | sample from Unmerry Melodies | | top of page |
