Calexico and The Kingsbury Manx conquer Europe 14 September 2000 Arizonas desert fried Calexico (John Covertino and Joey Burns from Giant Sand along with members of OP8 and The Friends Of Dean Martinez) are supporting their latest album The Hot Rail, while North Carolina minimalist acoustic quartet The Kingsbury Manx are riding a wave of enthusiasm over their self-titled debutreleased just this month in Europe although its been out since January in the US. City Slang tells us that almost every show down Europe way is selling out.
