Unisex ready debut album, post new MP3 track

Formed four years ago in the English midlands from the glowing embers of artcore band The Telescopes, float rock quintet Unisex will release their debut album Stratosfear in the US next month on Cambridge, Massachussetts indie label Double Agent. Release for the rest of the world is in the works—we’ll keep you posted.
    The band includes core members Stephen Lawrie and Jo Doran from The Telescopes, soundtrack composer Nick Hemming, Dan Thompson on drums, and Foz on bass.
    You can pick up Stratosfear on CD or vinyl LP—the two have slightly different track listings. Calmer Song is CD only while Cruise Control is just on vinyl. Tracks on both formats are The Full Force Of The Sun, Departure Lounge, the Anti-Gravity League, A Second Swell, Sidekick & Emo, Midnight In The Stratosphere, Let The Night Roar, and In Among the Breakers.
    The Double Agent site (which, we’ve discovered, is rather fun to explore) has a generous streaming RealAudio sample of the new album’s lead track The Full Force Of The Sun, plus a full MP3 version of Autopilot. If you poke around you’ll also find RealAudio clips of several older Unisex tracks.
