Sick Of It All’s Yours Truly—thrashingly good fun
4 October 2000

On 14 November New York hardcore quartet Sick Of It All release their sixth album, Yours Truly. It’s their second full length for SF indie label Fat Wreck Chords, produced by Steve Evetts (Snapcase, Hatebreed, Turmoil, Implode, All Out War, E-Town Concrete) and the band.
Yours Truly is sixteen tracks of truly pissed off vocals by Lou Koller against a finely crafted and super high energy soundtrack from brother Pete Koller (guitar), Craig Ahead aka Craig Setari (bass), and Armand Majidi (drums).
The tracks are Blown Away, Nails, The Bland Within, Hello Pricks, District, Disco Sucks Fuck Everything, America, Hands Tied Eyes Closed, Turn My Back, Broke Dick, Souvenir, Cruelty, This Day And Age, Ruin, Cry For Help, and No Apologies. District is the album’s first video, to be released next month.
Neanderthals don’t have a lock on painful emotion. Subtle people feel angst, wrath, despair, and high dudgeon sometimes, too. Sick Of It All’s Yours Truly is emotional emetic in the form of uncompromising hardcore thrash assault, sweetened with melody, just for them... er us? Recommended. | Sick Of It All | | bio | | discography | | sample from self-titled (1997) | | CD | | top of page |
