Blueline Medic sign to US label, plan debut LP & major tour
24 October 2000

Australian high energy guitar act Blueline Medic came together a little over a year ago in Melbourne as a trio of musicians from area bands: Donnie Dureau on guitar & vocals from Caustic Soda, Adrian on guitar from Mid Youth Crisis (aka One Inch Punch, aka Downfall), and David on bass from The Bradshaw Figure. This summer they added Chirpy (Pollyanna, Knieval, Rail, Mars Bastards, etc.) on drums.
As Blueline Medic the quartet have released one four-track EP in Australia, Working Title In Green. It’s been available for the rest of the world as an import.
Now Gainseville, Florida’s Fueled By Ramen records has announced they’ll release the EP for the US on 23 January. In February Blueline Medic arrive in the US for an extended tour. They’ll also record their debut LP next year (not yet titled) with producer Jay Robbins (Jawbox, The Dismemberment Plan) at Inner Ear studios west of Washington, DC in Arlington, Virginia. | Blueline Medic | | Blueline Medic on mp3.com | | Fueled By Ramen | | Swan Song Swan Dive (full length MP3) | | discography | | sample from Working Title In Green | | top of page |
