IUMA indie videos posted, voting open for I-Candy contest

Judges with the Internet Underground Music Archive (IUMA) Web site and EMusic have selected twenty independently produced music videos from unsigned US bands and posted them for viewing and voting on the IUMA Web site. Voting continues through 21 October. Winners in the so-called I-Candy contest, to be announced next week, will receive cash prizes, introductions to IUMA’s 600+ label partners, and high visibility on the IUMA Web site.
The 20 finalists are Bakara, Bruce Oakes And The Hi Line Fever Band, Carbon Leaf, CitizenXYZ, Clark W. Griswald, Cult Mechanics, Elvis Stewart And The Led Wagons, Endorphic, Ginny Mitchell, Grumpy, Karen Goss, Like Wow, More Machine Than Man, Orbis, Pain, Rama Lama, Thrust Super Sonic, Twisted Roots, Vision Quest, and Vocal Tonic.
If you want to vote you’ll watch the videos using the relatively new Eveo platform. As of press time the voting/viewing page was not quite working. | voting | | top of page |
