XBXRX stage major US tour, announce second LP

Mobile, Alabama electronica/punk quartet XBXRX, recently signed to Olympia indie label 5 Rue Christine, get back on the road for another US tour in December with label mates Deerhoof. Between now and then they’ll play a handfull of dates in the US southeast with The Get Hustle, MB, Thee Monarchy Men, and Bobby Conn.
    XBXRX, who seem to tour just about continuously, release their second album Gop Ist Minee on 5 Rue Christine in January. Chicago producer/musician Steve Albini (Pixies, Slint, Big Black, Rapeman) recorded the 12 track set over two days in August. It follows their debut self-produced album Love Songs For The Blind, available on CD by check for US$10 from Chris Terry AnalLog, PO Box 3915, Terre Haute IN 47803, USA.
    The band have posted two free MP3 files of the tracks Qbert and Duels, both from Love Songs For The Blind. We’ve provided direct links.
