Funkstörung live Webcast

Rosenheim, Germany experimental space/hip-hop duo Funkstörung (English, roughly: funk radio static) released in July the first single from their remarkable debut album Appetite For Disctruction. The CD single features vocals by MC Triple H, and includes four versions of the album track Grammy Winners. You can listen to all four single versions in free, full length streaming RealAudio from the band’s Studio-K7 Web site, which also offers the video itself in RealVideo.
    The duo of Michel Fakesh and Chris De Luca previously worked with Icelandic composer/singer Björk on the remix disc All Is Full Of Love, and have released a long string of limited edition records.
    Funkstörung chose English production house Designers Republic to create the video for Grammy Winners. It was Designer Republic’s first video, although they’ve previously done post-production for the likes of Aphex Twin and Pulp.
    You can listen to a live Funkstörung Webcast tonight from Germany via San Francisco on the Beta Lounge site. Also on tonight’s show, which starts 8 pm PDT (4 am Friday BST) are Brighton, England trip-hop duo The Runaways and France-based electronica artist Jori Hulkkonen.
