Vision Of Disorder, on new label, start work on comeback LP

Long Island, NY based thrashcore quintet Vision Of Disorder announced this week that they’ve signed to New York indie label TVT Records for their third album—which TVT expects to release sometime next year. It will follow three years on from 1998’s ultra-noisy & aggressive Imprint, produced by former Barkmarket front man and SeeThru Broadcasting Records founder Dave Sardy (who also played organ on the disc).
    (Last year’s For The Bleeders was a re-recording of earlier material, so next year’s album will be VOD’s first new studio LP in a while and their second album proper.)
    The band—Tim Williams (vocals), Matt Baumbach (guitar), Mike Kennedy (guitar), Mike Fleischmann (bass), and Brendon Cohen (drums)—are writing songs and recording demos now for the new LP. A label spokesperson describes the new songs as having “...a thunderous, powerful groove, with heavy and melodic vocals....”
