Rocket From The Crypt ready new studio LP for February

San Diego guitar six-piece Rocket From The Crypt announced their signing to American indie Vagrant Records this past May, along with plans for a new album. We’ve just learned that the new LP is set for a February 2001 release—more details as we get them. It follows two years on from their last studio album, 1998’s RFTC. (Last year they released a US$6.97, 25-track collection, Volume 2—All Systems Go.)
    You can hear two new RFTC songs—Chariots On Fire and This Way Out—on the US$5 all-previously-unreleased sampler CD from Vagrant, Another Year On The Streets, released last month in the US.
    Rocket From The Crypt are scheduled to play a couple of shows this month and the next in Arizona and Illinois. The dates are

November
17 - Tempe, AZ (Green Room)
18 - Tuscon, AZ (The Rock)

December
  1 - Chicago, IL (Empty Bottle)
  2 - Chicago, IL (Fireside Bowl)
