27 November 2000

Lawrence, Kansas high-energy pop quintet The Anniversary (Josh Berwanger, Adrianne Verehoven, Justin Roelofs, James David, and Christian Jankowski) have a new split single out with Connecticut-based Hot Rod Circuit—previously known as Antidote in their hometown of Auburn, Alabama. You can pick up the single on The Anniversary’s upcoming southwest US tour which starts Tuesday, 28 November at Scrappy’s in Tuscon.
The Anniversary have another great new song available on the Vagrant Records sampler Another Year On The Streets titled I Believe That The End Of The Reign Of Terror Is Soon Near. The 20 track sampler—which we recommend—features every band on Vagrant with 13 previously unreleased tracks and goes for less than US$4 from online retailers such as CDnow.
The Anniversary plan to release two new songs early next year through the Sub Pop singles club, as well as other new studio material, with details forthcoming. | The Anniversary | | tour dates | | Another Year On The Streets CD | | Sub Pop singles club | | discography | | sample from Designing A Nervous Breakdown (2000) | | CD | | top of page |
