The Modernist to play NYC show 5 May 2000 German techno/trance artist Jorg Burger, sometimes known as The Modernist, released his new album Explosion last month in the US. His first LP Stateside, Explosion features the previously available singles Mrs. New Deal and Architainment Part 1, along with tracks that won’t appear on the European version. Burger plays a one-off on 23 May in New York city in the building previously housing Tramps, performing with Detroit techno legend Derrick May and Paul Johnson.
