Chuck D and Lars Ulrich head to head on Napster issue 12 May 2000 Public Enemy leader and outspoken artist rights advocate Chuck D (Carlton Ridenhour)last year he described the Internet/MP3 revolution against major labels as the How the pimps get fucked by the ho revoltwill debate Metallica drummer Lars Ulrichvocal defender of copyright protectionstonight on the Charlie Rose show on PBS stations in the US. In most markets the show starts at 11 pm. Last week Ulrich delivered more than 300,000 login names to Napster, listing users who have allegedly traded Metallica files. Bowing to pressure from a US$10 million (£6.25 million) lawsuit, Napster has blocked those names. But the users can simply choose a new login name to regain access.
