Ian Dury tribute concert may see Clash reunion 12 May 2000 Dury died of cancer in March at age 57, survived by a wife and four children. The tribute concert will benefit the British charity for which Dury was the spokesperson, CancerBACUP. Also scheduled to perform at the Brixton Academy show are Robbie Williams (who in 1998 visited Sri Lanka with Dury), Kirsty MacColl, Suggs (from Madness), Saffron (from Republica), Neneh Cherry, and Durys backing band The Blockheads.
