First annual ROCKRGRL conference set for November 9 March 2000 US based ROCKRGRL magazine holds the first annual ROCKRGRL Conference 2-4 November in Seattle. The conference will “promote, encourage, and celebrate women’s achievements in the music industry” by way of panels, workshops, clinics, a trade show, and three nights of music showcases. Legendary American singer Ronnie Spector will keynote the event. The magazine has extended an open invitation to musicians to perform at the conference.
