Cat Power to play London, Oslo, North America 7 March 2000 American experimental singer/songwriter Chan Marshall, a.k.a. Cat Power, releases her new album The Covers Record in the US on 21 March. The twelve track set manages to be as affecting as it is low key—a bit like Tim Hardin’s darkest work or Kevin Spacey’s death in LA Confidential. She’ll play one off gigs in Oslo on the 12th at So What, and in London on the 14th at Drill Hall.
