Belfast, Northern Ireland techno/ambient artist David Holmes releases his eagerly awaited third LP Bow Down To The Exit Sign on Go!Discs on 29 May in the UK—his first studio album in nearly three years. There’s no distribution yet announced for the US.
Holmes recorded the set mostly in New York city, with help from Primal Scream’s Bobby Gillespie, Tricky singer Martina Toppley Bird, and Jagz Kooner (ex Sabres Of Paradise).
NME.com reports that Holmes may debut tracks from the new album at his 16 April performance at Belfast’s Limelight Club, part of the digitalT-Belfest 2000 festival. | NME story | | David Holmes | | Belfest | | bio | | discography | | sample from Let's Get Killed | | top of page |
