Ashtabula release debut full length
27 March 2000
Psychedelic experimentalists Ashtabula release their debut album Possible Smokestacks on 4 April in the US, although it’s available today direct from Midheaven records.
Bob Malloy of Philadelphia lo-fi outfit Strapping Fieldhands leads Ashtabula, started as a side project with the 1997 EP River Of Many Dead Fish. That record and the new one are on Philly indie imprint Siltbreeze Records. The band includes Malloy on guitar and vocals, Ed Farnsworth on drums, Rick Henderson on keyboards, and Rich Favel on bass and vocals. | Ashtabula on Midheaven | | Siltbreeze | | discography | | sample from River Of Many Dead Fish (EP) | | CD | | top of page |
