Review: Asian Dub Foundation’s Community Music
20 March 2000
The BBC Online’s Nigel Packer calls Asian Dub Foundation’s third album “...a passionate and inventive work.” Like their first two LPs, Community Music is politically charged and musically adventurous.
The new album—named after London’s Community Music House arts laboratory in which the band formed—is out now in the UK, with no planned release for the US. Indeed, none of ADF’s work is available domestically Stateside.
Packer concludes that Community Music “...reaffirms ADF’s status as one of the UK’s most exciting and original bands.” | BBC story | | discography | | top of page |
