NME launches Web video programming service 2 March 2000 nme.com in association with London based virtuetv.com has launched Music Net TV, their video programming service for the Web. The content is streamed using RealVideo in a format readable by only the newest versions of Real’s products. For now the one program available is a 30 minute excerpt of the NME Premier Awards ceremony taped last month, and features Blur, Elastica, Fatboy Slim, Feeder, Johnny Cigarettes, Sir Paul McCartney, Muse, Shaun Ryder, and Terris. | NME story | | Real | | virtuetv | | top of page | |
