Sebadoh in search of new label—Folk Implosion shine
17 March 2000
US lo-fi rockers Sebadoh are searching for a new label through performances at Austin’s SXSW festival this weekend and in Los Angeles on 24 March. A band spokesperson told nme.com that their eight year relationship with Sub Pop has ended now that promotional work for the last album The Sebadoh is finished.
Meanwhile, front man Lou Barlow’s other band The Folk Implosion has leapfrogged into the spotlight with widespread critical acclaim and a track on the film American Beauty. | NME story | | SXSW | | discography | | top of page |
