The Thrones to play Ladyfest benefit on Friday 16 March 2000 Gentlemenfest, the first of several expected benefit shows for this summer’s Ladyfest in Olympia, Washington, takes place Friday at a new community space named Praxis. Darkcore/techno artist The Thrones will play, as will Tight Bros. From Way Back When and The Fugue Is A Disease.     Ladyfest itself takes place 1-6 August at several venues in Olympia. Bands just confirmed include The Haggard and Two Ton Boa, who join Aislers Set, Bangs, Bratmobile, Sarah Dougher, Emily’s Sassy Lime, Frenchie And The German Girls, The Gossip, I Mudder Accordian, Lois, The Need, Shotgun Won, Sleater-Kinney, Tenessee Twin, and Allison Williams.     The Thrones, meanwhile, are gearing up for a megalomaniacal US tour starting next month and visiting at least 60 US cities.
