Sense Field: screw you guys, we’re going home
15 March 2000
Getting no joy from major label Warner Bros., who strung them along for a year failing to release their fourth LP Under The Radar, LA alt/emo rockers Sense Field have anulled their contract. They plan to buy back the tapes and shop the album around.
Band manager Chris Baca told allstar News “I’d like to see this record come out in the next 120 days.”
Sense Field start a major North American tour on 29 March at Lola’s in Portland. Some shows will be with Guided By Voices and Built To Spill—the CDnow story lists all the dates.
The not yet titled new album will be the band’s first studio LP since 1996’s Building, although they released the EP Part Of The Deal last year. | CDnow allstar story | | bio | | discography | | sample from Part Of The Deal (EP) | | top of page |
