The The tour Europe, UK, North America
15 March 2000
English singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Matt Johnson’s existentialist rock collective The The bring their world tour to the US and Canada starting late April. The American leg starts on the east coast and runs for about two dozen dates. Rockbites will announce details shortly.
First, though, they’ll hit Europe, beginning with an eight day stretch through Ireland, England and Scotland starting 28 March at the Olympia Theatre in Dublin. Then on to Denmark, Germany, France, Belgium, and the Netherlands before heading west.
The The released NakedSelf last month, Johnson’s first LP in five years. It features guitarist Eric Schermerhorn (Iggy Pop), drummer Earl Harvin (MC 900 Ft. Jesus), and bassist Spencer Campbell (Kenny Rogers, Toy Matinee). | tour dates | | discography | | sample | | CD | | top of page |
