Enon on US tour, set to release debut LP 10 March 2000 Live Dailys Mark Lewis chats with John Schmersal of experimental/sampler based trio Enon (ee' nin, named for an Ohio town), who are set to release their debut LP Believo! on 14 March in the US. Speaking on the bands use of chaos and serendipity, Schmersal said The things that I end up liking the most, and the things that usually end up having the most lasting value... are the things that just happen. The less I think about them, the better they are.... Nonetheless, the band tend toward the cerebral. The track listing for Believo! is Rubber Car, Cruel, Conjugate The Verbs, Believo!, Come Into, Matters Gray, Get The Letter Out, World In A Jar, For The Sum Of It, Elected, and Biofeedback. Enon started a US tour yesterday in Morgantown, West Virginia, and continue through 29 April when they play New Yorks Knitting Factory. Delta 72 join them on the early dates, and Girls Against Boys headline the April shows. | Live Daily story | | tour dates | | discography | | sample | | CD | | top of page | |
